Damaged Propane Tank Lifting Lug
This tank containing 500 gallons of liquid propane was moved by a customer at his place of business. A sudden surge of liquid caused the tank to abruptly jerk to one end. The result was a broken lifting lug. Notice the break in the lug at the bottom left of the picture. Opposite the break at the top right of the picture is where the steel has been stressed. This tank lug is no longer usable until it is repaired. The bill to the customer for tank repair: $325. Let propane companies do the heavy lifting.
